Each year Montreal’s Cirque du Soleil circus company puts on unique and intricate acrobatic performances. Performers stage shows around the world, including in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Guests can enjoy music, dance, acrobatics and more.
The next Cirque du Soleil show in Montreal is Echo, which runs from May 23rd until June 28th, 2026.
Cirque du Soleil shows usually last between two and two-and-a-half hours. The show also includes a 20- to 30-minute intermission in the middle.
Circus Location
Cirque du Soleil has a permanent location in Montreal, its hometown. The circus performs under the Grand Chapiteau at the Old Port of Montreal. It can be found at the Quai Jacques-Cartier.
The Grand Chapiteau is a big-top-style circus tent. Peaks in the tent are supported by beams which creates a castle-like effect from the outside. All chairs under the big top are padded and have views of the stage.
The colour of the Grand Chapiteau changes based on which show is being performed. In the past, the tent has either been white and blue, white and yellow or blue and yellow.

What to Expect at Echo
Echo presents an imaginative world where lyrical storytelling, masterful stage design, daring acrobatics and advanced technology blend to create a magical experience. This Cirque du Soleil production presents striking visuals, a distinctive artistic style and lively characters that fill the stage with colour and wonder. Drawing inspiration from youthful optimism, creativity, and empathy, Echo delights audiences with powerful music, spectacular lighting and projections, and breathtaking acrobatic performances.
As with most other Cirque du Soleil shows, Echo is family-friendly and entertaining for all ages. The show lasts a little of over two hours (125 minutes), including a 25-minute intermission.
Admission and Hours
Admission to Cirque du Soleil is based on demand. Tickets at premium times cost more than tickets at off-peak times. For example, a ticket to a Saturday show would cost more than a Thursday mid-day show.
Depending on the day and time, tickets for Echo in 2026 are at between $59 and $89. VIP seats cost upwards of $300 at premium times. Family packs are also available at discounted rates.
